Bolero retrofit

Featured Replies

Hello

I have 2011 skoda octavia II FL 2.0 CR fitted with radio swing. Em planning to upgrade it to radio bolero. I have come to know that to install bolero you also need to upgrade CAN gateway to prevent the battery drainage. The CAN gateway currently installed in my car is:-

Address 19: CAN Gateway (J533) Labels: 7N0-907-530-V2.clb

Part No SW: 7N0 907 530 C HW: 1K0 907 951

Component: J533 Gateway H37 0614

Revision: H37 Serial number: 071110F1001059

Coding: 351303

Shop #: WSC 73430 790 00075

VCID: 306B14F3DAB3

I just wanted to know that do I have to upgrade the CAN gateway also? Would the PDC and climate control settings would be shown on the bolero's display? Is it just the plug n play thing or does it need any VCDS coding.

Regards

Alam

7N0 907 530 C is you Can Gateway model and is one of the latest models, so no problem for you there.

You'll also need coding
