Any good tyre deals out there?

Featured Replies

Been trawling the net for a buy one get one free tyre offer, doesn't seem like there are any out there.

Anyone know if there are any cracking deals or good discounts available, I'm looking for 4 225/40/18 92y tyres

I've got Falken452s at the mo but they aren't anywhere near as good as the ultrac sessantas I usually fit, I'll prob go back to the vredesteins as they are £104 each inc delivery which tbh sounds as good as I'll get in the current climate.

The Barum 2 are suprisingly good and cheap ie about £90 each fitted.

Only traction rating A rather than AA but seem to actually grip better than the Michelin PS3s we also run in 225s.

National was doing the buy one get second half price so you could get 4 for about £377 seems to be.

Barum are Continentals, often made in Germany and I have been impressed with them in the Winter. PS3s will come in to their own in the summer reckon.

Stick with the vredestien's they are brilliant tyres and for £104 a positive bargain!

I just bought 4 new vredesteins £101 each from elitedirectwheels on ebay with free postage. should be £440 inc balancing and fitting at mu local garage.

Been putting off getting new tyres for about a month as I knew all 4 needed done, be a big weight off my shoulders when they're fitted and I can enjoy the twisty roads rather than worry about aquaplaning in the next big puddle :-)

I think you can only get any sort of deal on tyres when you buy in bulk, and 4 tyres is not bulk if im honest

you might get this deal at local garage but its either when you buy one of the most expensive tyres they have or they are been discontinued

I normally use camskill, cheapest iv found and delivered straight away, im going for Uniroyal Rainsport 2's this summer (still got my winters on atm) iv never had these before but iv heard good things

What about nan kan :wonder:

What about nan kan emoticon-0112-wondering.gif

All the chinese/korean made tyres are non starters for me, linglong, sunew, sunny, nankang etc. I'm not saying they are all pretty rubbish as that would be unfair, but I'm guessing they are :giggle:

I've been using these for a few months myself. I did look up the tyre plant codings and they were made in Romania.
