New Superb owner: first query!

Featured Replies

Hi!

Just arranged to trade in my 57 Roomster 1.9Tdi for a 11 plate Superb Twindoor, 2.0CR S (140) next week. Very happy with service at Heyselden Skoda in Doncaster.

So, first question: How do people with 'S' spec Skodas mount third-party Sat Navs in easy reach?

Thanks, Stuart.

Hi Stuart,

I recently bought a 2010 SE Estate and at first had my Tom-Tom on one of those 'heavy pads' on the top of the dashboard, as I had on my previous Mondeo. However, I have just bought a vent mount for it from Halfords and that is much better. The central vent near to the driver provides a solid mount and it is easily visible and close enough to use the touch screen simply.

Cheers

I would use a Brodit holder to mount with no holes onto the Dash... They are dead good!

Also, You can use a Brodit mount for the device - i have one for my iPhone 4 and my Dad's got one for his TomTom.

Thanks; am using a grille-mount with the Roomster, so will try it.

Brodit mounts are high quality and compatible with all vehicles. You have the option of either an active (wired) or non-active mount. With the latter, you simply use the 12v cigarette lighter cable supplied with your sat nav.
