I have now taken up with this matter with Skoda UK - and the answer's still the same..... NO WAY.

They went back to the build of my car and say that the oil temperature cannot be displayed.

I asked about other owners who report that they had this facility from day one with their Fabia II vRS (and presumably not even having asking for it) and no explanation was offered.

The gentleman on the 'phone was very pleasant but I got the impression that I wasn't getting the complete story.

Sounds like you were fobbed off mate. I remember talking to SUK and them not having a clue about it

Just bumping this topic back to life again!

I got my service-plan changed from variable to fixed service.

The variable service would be expensiver in any way that you coun't so I asked them to change it.

Problem is that my oil-temperature read-out changed from functioning to ---.

From what I've understood, it has to be activated again... is that right?
