clonking/knocking front end

Featured Replies

i noticed today that when turning sharply i would get a single clonk/knock.It's hard to be certain of where its coming from but i am guessing it could be suspension.

It doesn't do this when going over speed humps or rough roads etc.

I have only owned the car for a month as i bought it as an approved used car from Skoda so it has 12months warranty.

Is this worth taking to the stealers or should i just go to an independant as i am not sure warranty would cover something like this.

warranty should definetly cover this.id take it back to them.

go back to the dealers.

it could be the heat shield or something in the glove box or sunglasses compartment rolling about.

i think you could be right i had a small maglite in glove box and although its in a neoprene sleeve the ends are still exposed so it could have been that sliding about,i have removed it and been ok today,so i will just keep my ear on it cheers
