Good, cheap, wet and dry vac?

Featured Replies

Hello all!

It would appear that in the summer months the carpets and seats on the Octy will be needing a clean. I've read lots of reccomendations on here that a Wet Vac will tackle the job with ease. In addition to this we have a 1 year old pooch who seems to be delighting in ruining the cream coloured living room carpet at the moment, and out bod standard household vaccum cleaner seems to be dying a death as well.

As such im hoping to kill two birds with one stone, and get a decent household wet and dry vac that i can sell to SWMBO as being an investment to keep the house carpets clean, but also do the business on the car carpets/seats.

Im not wanting to bust the bank however, and was wondering if anyone had any recommendations?

Cheers

I got a "Vax Pet" from local freecycle site which needed a small amount of work. Works very well though. Only done house carpets so far (the brown and gritty in water sucked up shows it is doing something) but plan to do the mongrel's interior in the summer.

That's just a wet vac though.
