Thanks, took less than two minutes...no glue!

Is that excess glue by the vent?

Yes a little from the chrome trims I fitted last year. Its sort of black sealant like.

I may be being very eagle eyed but are you wearing a vRS T-Shirt in the reflection on your door handle?

Lol! Well spotted, but no its my seat covers...Going fishing tomorrow!

Any chance of a pic hanging back to see entire dash etc to see the full effect? BTW "in car CCTV" where is camera mounted?

    Camera is mounted between rear view mirror and windscreen. Will try and dig out a pic.

    ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh cheers I have seen that vid before looking good I used to have the same camera but its in a drawer now resting got DOD GS600 instead with the gps data logging. Wish I had that radio wonder what it would cost to change to it :(

    also want to door insert carpet things we need another group buy what company supplied them do you know ? I can't find thread

    Yer its a Columbus, I think one of the threads is still going in Group Buy or he is selling them for another model. I got the carpet AND the rubber inserts! Used Carplan spray glue. I have used the camera to make a claim against another driver who hit and shattered my door mirror. If it was'nt for the cam I would have had to pay out.

    Not a fan I'm afraid. Too much silver and glue on show, ends up looking cheap and tacky. Very Ripspeed/Halfords.

    Sorry but I'm of that opinion too. It's too easy to get carried away with this type of thing - I've been guilty of it myself in the past. I also added the chrome rings but took them off after a while - I think they also look tacky. I wish somebody did something more suble - how about the rings in gloss black? That would be a really nice touch - subtle but different..........

    Each to their own though and if you think it looks good then who am I to argue! :thumbup:
