I'm not a newbie, I'm paramaniac but cant log on for some reason?.

Anyhoo, I am on the scrounge for advice.

My 2005 Fabia Vrs front windows stopped working, briefly worked again then failed. They have been dead mfor 8 week, i was waiting to get them fixed. Tonight my dipped beam headlights failed, both sides,, warning on dash etc.

Bulbs OK, fuses appear OK.

Any clues? Could it be related? Convenience unit?

If I let myself loose on it there'll be a big bang, a flash, much cussing and a trip to A&E.

Can you get someone to help you with a vagcom scan ? Sounds electrical and if so should be some fault codes to scan off which should help

worked for my last fault on dash....seemed to be a wiring problem on mine which I've sorted for now
