Had a play with the above in work today. Works bloody well! Means if a client is having trouble doing something on Sage or whatever, I can (with their permission) get access to their PC remotely and do it all myself (which I would prefer as cocked up Sage journals only mess me up more later....)

join.me - love it (Now I find out it is probably ancient technology but then I am a luddite :D)

Been using similar stuff for years!

Fair enough. I know my work has always used VNC on the network, but never seen this kind of internet thing. Seems like work are going to put it into protocol to allow us to work on clients' computers. Will sadly mean less trips out though. :D

How does it compare to logmein?

I feel your pain dude. We've been using Citrix GotoAssist for the last few years. Seriously rocks, sadly no mileage to claim now :(

I use Crossloop as a freeby to help out peeps as you can use it without having to signup for an account. its just a form of VNC in listening mode. Hoping the company will decide on a proper solution one day and put their hands in their pockets. :D

Is it just me or am I the only one that hasn't got a clue what's this is about? lol

Logmein has saved moving once or twice lol

It sounds the same as logmein? You and client go on same homepage. They click share, given a 9 digit number, I click join, enter said number, I take control of computer. :)

Logmein for me... Works well for watching films through my 42" plasma, I just remote desktop the computer on either my phone or laptop and hey presto.
