3" Decat Downpipe

Featured Replies

Hi guys,

One of the local exhaust places (prospeed Cardiff) can only work in 2.5 or 3"

So would a 3" be too bigger bore for the down pipe? Would it physically fit behind engine/chassis?

Running a stage 2 hybrid if that helps.

I'd run 2.5" from the catbck section.

I've got a 3 inch decat downpipe on my Ibiza from Darkside Developments, goes into a 2.5 inch Piper exhaust from Unit18. how tight it is and how hard it was to fit I don't know, but it fits

Sorry to bring up an old topic but what was the outcome with this?

Also what sort of price do pro speed charge for a de cat? I'm local and wouldn't mind finding out :)

Cheers

I went with pipers 2.5" in the end, but Charlie wanted £150 for a 2.5" decat last time I asked mate. He has a good rep around south Wales!
