Thought i better intoduce myself. I will be the proud owner of a 2004 SKODA Fabia 1.9 TDi PD 130 vRS in black. I have recently changed my job and this now requires me to travel 70 miles a day so i wanted a deisel with poke!

I recently sold my mitsubishi evo 8 (400bhp) so am no starnger to a little power.

I intend to do some mods (filter, remap etc) but dont want to cause any un-reliability.

The car has 118,000 with full documented history.

Even more difference is the fact that i sold the evo to purchase a new Kia Sportage (wifes idea )

I am due to pick the vrs on Saturday so am looking forward to having a taste of deisel performance!

Wicked cars mate i sold my mk1golf with 230bhp g60 and picked up my vrs yesterday, its far from slow but like yourself am planning filter and a decent map very shortly. Also in surrey, the new capital for vrs owners?! Lol

I have just paid the deposit on the car so i will be a vrs owner within the next few days

I have been looking at the mods for next weekend, sort out the grill, replace the Skoda badges with vrs badges (ordered) change internal lights to led's (ordered) and complete a full paint detail (there are some swirls and holograms within the paintwork)

For the next 4 weeks:

• Rear lights darkened
  
• Windows tinted
  
• Wheels painted gloss black
  
• Calipers painted gloss black
