Can anyone help? My wipers stopped working today.Ive checked the fuses and none of the relays smell burnt out.also made sure bonnet was closed .The rear wiper works as does the windscreen washers.Thank you,Mickey.

Could be the bonnet switch common fault on vag cars , un plug the switch and bridge it out this will restore the wipers ,but if you have door open display this would indicate as open bonnet .

If the bonnet switch idea doesnt work. Try turning the ignition on try the wipers and listen or get someone to stand closer and listen for the noise of the wiper motor trying to work. Ive had the problem of the nut holding the linkage to the motor coming off. If not then id say wiper motors packed in i bought one 2 years ago and it was a good £130 for a new one.
