Welcome to the club

I am sure you'll find the local supermarket closes early on a more frequent basis therefore necessetating (sp) a 20 mile trip to the next mearest one :rolleyes: seems to be something that happens when you own a vRS :confused:

Not quite run in yet, but i have done just over 800 miles in a week and a half, including a 15 mile trip for milk, when the local shop is only a mile away!!! Really pleased with the car, looked at all sorts of hot hatches before deciding, including Mini cooper and cooper S, clio 182, etc, very nearly bought the Clio, but decided on the Fabia due to my high mileage. So glad i did, can't believe how quick it is on the road, loads of torque which is fantastic, plus my old man loves it due to him owning a Octavia estate vRS. Anyone got any suggestions for some easy mods??

Infotainment system switches itself on

Hi, It happened twice now that I walked past my parked and locked Mk IV Octavia and I noticed that the infotainment system was on and the radio playing. Anyone had this before? Both times it was on a sunny day, so quite warm inside the car. Is there any way so that the infotainment system can only be switched on with a key present? Car is from Sep 2020 with 1941 software version. Thanks, Peter

So had both rear control arms replaced as the bolt was seized so I couldnt get the tracking done..now the tracking place say they can't get the camber inside spec because there is no adjustment for that and it will be OK as toe is good now.. Have attached the results.. Is the camber adjustment not this bolt in the pic..(which stands a chance is seized aswell)

I know that i have posted in 3-4 other topics the photos of my modified console (in various stages) but i think it's proper to have them all in one topic plus informations for the step by step procedure. Maybe another member will read it and try to modify his or someone can find via Google Search the photos and have an inspiration. Hello Does anyone have any knowledge of how to remedy issues with the RNS510 Columbus stereo cutting out, and a pulsing kind of heartbeat sound being emitted from the speakers? Do I need to install software? If so, how do I know which type and what version I will need, and where do I get it? Thanks in advance.
