Thinking about colour coding the bump strips around the car. Anyone done it?

hmm thats a marmite 1 i think. i think it looks more cleaner... makes the front end look more angular if that makes sense. got me thinking even more now

I had mine done when i had my vrs, i think it looked alot better looked more modern IMO here's a pic

Just get a Black VRS then rubbing strips will be colour coded simples !

I really dont like it on the silver, looks cheap and tacky and as if your trying to make it look modern... What about painting them gloss black now that would look good

Really?? :sweat: i dont see what colour has to do with it. In my eyes cars without colour coded trims/mirrors/bumpers were the lower "pov" spec models. it is on all vws and many other car makers out there. i dont understand why the vrs has such trimmings. :think:

I've done it. Probably one of the best exterior mods you can do.

Just take the side strips off. Looks a lot tidier, then colour code the bumper strips.....simples.

ive been thinking about it on my silver too. i think it would look alot more upto date. removal of them would be my first choice but i dont fancy all the door dings :(
