Bluetooth options

Featured Replies

Sorry if this has been asked before (which it probably has many times... Couldn't easily find any other threads on here about it though...!)

I'm picking up a new car on Monday and was interested in what options I have to get Bluetooth working.

It's a new VRS with the standard Bolero with iPod connector. No maxidot and it's not the DSG so no multi function steering wheel.

I assume I can't add Skoda bluetooth as I don't have the above extras (but correct me if I'm wrong) so assume I'll haver to go for a 3rd party fit.

I've come across Parrott and FISCON. Lokking at it, the FISCON would integrate pretty seamlesly into the Bolero and the touch screen would operate it but the Parrott would have to have an extra screen fitted? Does that sound about right?

Any help greatly appreciated!

u should still b able to install an oem kit, u just won' get steering wheel or maxidot control.

u'll still b able to control via the bolero itself.

Thanks for that! Wasn't sure if I'd have to add a Maxidot too (which obviously puts the price up) so am relieved at that. Will see what I can do...
