Hi all, firstly I'm pleased to say as of next week I'll be a Fabia owner, so it's bye bye to the Felicia and onto new things!

Quick question, I've viewed a few Fabias and can't quite remember if the one I've actually gone for has a fuel computer (just a mpg read out on the dash). The spec i've gone for is a 2005 Fabia Classic 1.2 htp, does anyone know if a basic fule computer was standard on this model?

I don't think the classic 1.2 from 2005 has the fuel computer as standard. I have the ambiente 1.2 from 2005 and it does have the fuel computer. I have to say though that I really wanted a car with a fuel computer but I rarely use it, so you won't miss it!

I've found the 1.2 to be a really economical engine getting an average of about 60+ mpg during the summer when driven with a very light foot and using highest gears possible, correct tyre pressures etc so it can be every bit as economical as the diesel vrs, plus it's a lower insurrance group and petrol is cheaper to buy (just), definitely can't beat them on performance though.

Thanks for the reply, I'm hoping it will be nice and cheap to run. Should have it by this time tomorrow, as for the fuel computer I've never had one but always fancied it. Will have to see what happens.
