knocking on passenger side

Featured Replies

hi all after picking up my vrs I've got a tapping like something is stuck in the tyre but it isn't in the tyre does anyone have any idea what it could be? its like its behind the wheel is there anything it could catch on?

I once had someone try to nick my wheels and they had loosened the bolts , check they are tight, jack it up and spin the wheel concerned by hand , nothing really to catch on, maybe put the spare on that side and still see if it is doing it.

quick update if anyones interested?? they apparently found that the two front tyres were the wrong way round with them being directional i did not think that this could cause knocking at the front? what are peoples thoughts on this?

Has refitting the tyres correctly cured the knocking?

I hope you pay the tyre fitter a visit to ask why he fitted the tyres the wrong way around!

unbelievably yes there is no knocking but the garage i bought it from fixed it so I'm not sure what to believe?? surely that couldn't make a knocking sound??
