Hmm they are too worn Clive for me. 3-4mm means I will be replacing too soon..

not an issue if they dont go i will just trash then on a few track sessions lol

Billy why would 205/45/17 knock speedo out any more than 225/45/17's...

225 45 17 are a bigger tyre than the 205 45 17. the roling radius is bigger mate.

the tyre walls are 45% of 225 and 45% of 205 so a fair difference. to most it prob doesnt mean much but me personally it means that more miles than nec go on the speedo. mind I was doing a lot so just 1% for me was a few hundred mile more on the clock than she actually did.

thee is a 2.8% diff in RR on them 2 tyres mate. and a 3.2% diff between the std oe fit and the 205 45 17 which equates to 600+ mile for every 20k you do. plus your mpg is off too, minimal stuff but lets face it on runs/cruises eco is important unless you only use the car for fun but as a daily too?
