Been trying to find cheap dash blanks for above the stereo in my VRS online, none on eBay as far as I can see (glad to be proven wrong)

Want some to practice a few mods on before ruining my own.

I would consider a trip to a local scrapyard as they would probably be the cheapest place to get a few of them from

Yeah scrap yard was an idea but being stuck on a navy base with no car for month at a time, wanted the online convenience lol...

Ah right ok :-) so have a skoda dealer within walking distance, just assumed dealer would cost a fortune lol.

And the USB idea is actually what I was going to try. How it go?

Ahh sweet, basically the same idea as I had so nice to know it is at least feasible, just making the thing fit lol :-P

If you are keen on buying via ebay, just find a seller breaking a Fabia and get them to list the blanks.

Should only cost a couple of quid but not sure how that compares with a dealer.

I would normally recommend Skoda dealers for small parts - but they do need checking - after all the price of door clips has literally doubled recently...
