Think mine may be on its way out....

intermittent fault code at high rpm and lag for a split second feeling like a dv leak (used to it with older generation bosch units on my lancia)

under warranty do they just change like for like or is there a revised model available?

Warranty you'll only get a replacement of what's already fitted I expect.

I had a later type "D" fitted by an independent, didn't cost much.

Surprised yours wasn't fitted with a rev D from the factory.

A 2011 model should certainly have one, must just be a duff one...

cheers - i'll do warranty and ask what part no they are proposing. 1 every 10K wouldn't be too bad

Latest part no for the rev D: 06H 145 710 D.

(had to get one myself last week)

my 2011 VRS was fitted with a Revision C, are you mapped, or do you have an intake on?

Standard - I hate induction systems with a passion - waste of money and drive you bonkers with noise. Normally aspirated yes perhaps for noise - turbo - no always sounds a bit naff to me

Dont rule out the PCV as they still fail on the TSI engine. Id just let Skoda fix it and not waste any money. Whilst its under warranty its not costing you anything. Its a myth that all new engines are fitted with the D revision valve as that valve is from an S3 and not factory fitted to Skoda engines.
