Had a Mk1 Octavia VRS and never had any problems with it. Have a Mk1 Fabia VRS and again been a pleasure to own.

The Octavia was coming up to 6 years old and I fancied a change. Originally ordered a MK2 Oct VRS but after 8 months waiting and being told it'd be another 6 months I test drove a Fabia VRS and ordered one from port straight away. Was also considering a Clio Sport but I have always had VAG cars and couldn't see myself with a Clio as good as am sure they are.

Was looking for something with a good blend of power and economy. Fabia vRS had only just come out and no VAT deal. Waiting list back then was huge as well so didn't want to wait. In the end, phoned a few dealers and asked if they'd sell their demo early and found one reasonably close to me.
