Got the mongrel back!

Featured Replies

and she's running nicely. Thanks to a refurbed manifold I no longer have a nasty ticking noise on boost, and there's no fumes coming in the cabin. I used my old exhaust wrapped (by resoaking it) to wrap around my leaky flexi, so that is now also not allowing fumes to escape.

The downside is I managed to get my first journey, and the one film clip from the DR400G I fancied showing where I did some acceleration, ummm, I can't show it for fear of it being admittable evidence, *cough.

Glad to have the old girl back

She is also sporting the Xenons which are great  I'll try and get a clip where they show how good they are (and me not exceeding the speed limit....)

I can hear the enviromentalists crying!!! :D

I find this thread highly offensive, and shall report it accordingly

Insinuating that you were doing naughty things on a public highway..........it's disgusting

It wasn't "that" naughty - just enough to no doubt raise some eyebrows.

I need to see the acceleration on this beastie....fancy bunging it on photobucket and send me a linky Jason :-)

Can't you explain you had wheelspin? Though you'd need them "linger longer" tyres for that to be true. :)

Glad it's all sorted Jason, it's been a while.

Yeah, 3 weeks. Just glad I had use of the MX5 again. Had some final top down action yesterday before handing her back.
