New, Old Octavia owner, Hello!

Featured Replies

Hello all,

I have recently purchased a 2002 Skoda octavia elegance with 117,000 miles, for my wife to use.

This is my first time on the site and I thought I would say hello and introduce myself.

Hopefully I will get a good few more thousand miles out of her, without relying on this site, to keep her running, (The skoda, not the wife!). :giggle:

Thanks

Garry.

Welcome to Briskoda!

Mk1 Octavia - good choice.

The engine will go on to do starship mileage. Any problems with it have a look in the Octavia I forum

Welcome Gary, not a bad engine if you're lucky!

Hi and welcome aboard.

Hi Garry & welcome aboard. I had a Mk 1 octy not that long ago. Cracking car and only traded her on because all four windows kept opening of their own accord. Unfortunately this tended to happen overnight or when wet so was a real pain. Couldn't resolve so off she went.

As long as it's had a degree of TLC to date I don't think you'll have any regrets. Taxi drivers seem to think the same. Good luck. Rob.

Welcome along
