Can bluetooth be retrofitted?

Featured Replies

Just wondering while sitting in traffic. My wheel has a phone icon by the volume so was wondering if its something simple to add and activate with VAGCOM

It can be retrofitted but it's not easy and the module itself is expensive. Shark Performance retrofit genuine VAG bluetooth.

For most people one of the Parrot kits are just as good.

I have geniune vag bluetooth in the Passat, Pioneer dvd/nav/blutooth in the Fabia tsi and the basic Parrot kit in the Fabia htp. All work great to be honest.

Cheers

Think you need to have a run to the dealers about that. My woman can be annoying but at least she is speaking in a language I understand!

Il get it looked at when its getting the springs fitted and a few other settings changed. My dad works for a vw dealer and when a told him he said that when they went to the polo launch and tried it there it done the same thing and not one person knew how to fix it so i aint got high hopes :/

I wouldn't mind knowing what's involved or even part numbers for the bits. My mechanic has VCDS so could fit it for me if it's just plugging it in and activating it
