I've read the oil guide but cannot find this oil!

Mobil 1, New life 0w-40, VW 502 00 / 505 00

Is this oil suitable for Fabia vrs mk1?

I know I should use 505/01 but this is 505/00??

That's what I got in it now, it's just I can get my hands on the other stuff very cheaply.

Perhaps I'll stick to esp.

Mobil New Life is only 505.00 spec

The simple answer is No. It does not conform to VW 505.01 spec, so you should not use it for a Mk1 Fabia vRS.
