Replacing Air Filter

Featured Replies

Hi,

Can anyone point me to any technical 'how to guides' on changing the air filter on a Fabia vRS MK1?

I've got my car in for a major service and advised them NOT to replace the panel filter. I'll want to check that they haven't changed it.

Many thanks guys

Airbox, back right of engine bay.

Undo bolts / screws in corners, remove lid. Voila.

Couple of screws and a latch on top of the air box i believe,if you can hold a screw driver you can do it basically, really simple job

be better with the paper oem filter tho tbh

If they have put an oem filter in you will be able to see the orange rubber without even taking the airbox apart.

After seeing the panel filters which was in mine I would stock with OEM. Don't think it makes much difference either.
