Wheel Alignment Advice

Featured Replies

Had some odd steering feelings in my vRS over last few months and had wheel alignment checked but it couldnt be adjusted properly as one of the parts had seized.

So today I took it to have the new parts fitted and a wheel alignment check.

I would appreciate anyone who is in the know to tell me if the alignment is all good now. I dont know if it makes a difference but bear in mind its a LHD car.

As I live in Germany the attached printout has been translated to English with google translate so hopefully its understandable.

Cheers

Im having problem to figure which one is - before, after and spec. If preset is the one for final adjustment then they did nice job for front axle (maybe too heave on possitive toe) but rear doesnt seems right. Seems as they had right camber and made it worst. Which is weird for Fabia as there is no adjustment so better if you let me which one is which then I would be in a better place to advice you about it.

Hi

Thanks for the reply. I spoke to a German speaking friend and we have come to the conclusion that the first should read NOMINAL VALUE which we guess is the perfect settings, the second column is DIAGNOSIS which we think is how the car actually was before any changes and the third column is SETTING VALUE which we believe is how it is after adjustment.

Would that make sense to you as it looks like gobbledegook to me

Another question, if I lower the car 25mm will I need the wheel alignment doing again and if so will the perfect settings be different to standard or is it aligned to the original OEM figures.?

Yes you will need doing it again. As far as spec it might slightly change.
