The first place I would look is in the Engine bay, on the bulk head it's where the connection is for sending the water to the rear screen. If theres a puddle around the Passenger front wheel its that connection. It may have just popped off.

  • The above is where mine had come off, two second job

Or put washers on ,then lok under car for poodle( sorry puddle :giggle: ) of water . If there's none , it could be at joint on NS behind passenger seats or where hose joins nozzle on rear window . Cause - from a lot of posts, not using a strong enough mix in wash bottle. Mine had this when I got it. Found bottle was full of NEAT water . :hi:

I now buy an Asda 2.5 litre bottle of screen wash, and a bottle of their cheapest washing up liquid( don't foam as much as the better stuff). Add half a bottle to washers and top up with water. Then add a dash of washing up liquid, which will help to get rid of grease .

mine was the small rubber tubing that sent the water through as previously mentioned above, got my mechanical friend to take a look, simple but awkward job of pushing it back on then cable tied it to stop any future problems.

Great, but lok on here for problems caused by NEAT water in bottle. I find it easier to fil up with 50% AAsda screen wash( and a dash of washing up liquid). Yu could clip the junction ,but in the event of a freeze up, you might get problems, like washer pump burning out etc. Beware of the cable tie problem , as this has been shown to cause the above problems. I've never had problems in seven years using a 50% mix with the lines un clipped. If the temperatur gets too low ,you might want to drop to 100% mix. A lot cheaper solutin than replacing the wash bottle & pump .

Mine also popped off in the engine bay. Once I also found the rear nozzle was blocked with dirt, just stuck a pin in it and the flow was loads better after that.

But -------there's a post on here of how it comes off. :wall: It can be caused by using watr in the bottle, as opposexc to a 50%mix. Keep up at the back, please . Since I've used only 50% mix ,I've had no problems . Previously a non dealer had filed the bottle with water .

Mine had popped off in the same place (bulkhead, behind the airbox). I always aim for 50% mix after having had to replace a washer pump on a previous car (Megane II - what a pain in the arse that was!).
