Remove badges by warming with a hairdrier then pull a piece of thick cotton behind. Rub off residue and voila!

Don't know about fogs. I know my octavia has wiring ready behind grill but still looking for info on whether they just plug in and go? - hence I saw your post - and the search goes on!

good luck

Easiest way to do the fogs is to run your wiring to a powersupply and a generic switch.

But... This won't light up the indicator light in your instrument binnacle to remind you they're on.

You can get a switch that illuminates from Maplins to get around this for a couple of quid.

Alternatively you'll need to wire in the proper headlamp switch with the 2 stage pull on switch for

the fogs. You may be able to source a used one from a breakers. I'd imagine it would be quite pricey

buying a new one from the dealer. At least you won't have to take the bumper off to fit the actual lamps..

I am planning on doing the fogs on mine at some point. The wiring is not there as standard. However, you can swap your existing light switch to one with a front fog switch. You then need the appropriate thickness wire, and repair wire connectors.

I believe wiring would go something like.....

Repair wire connector fitting to appropriate hole in light switch plug. I believe the existing wire that feeds the power for the fogs is already fused, and of the appropriate gauge to add front fogs. From this wire you would need to somehow add a fog light on indicator. There is one already in the dash panel, you need to remove it and connect the wire to the correct pin using a repair wire connector. Then obviously you just take your wires through to the engine bay (under glovebox), and to the fogs, then ground using a decent ground somewhere in the engine bay. Then you will effectively have factory-style functioning front fogs.
