Drivers side window problem in 2000 Golf

Featured Replies

A work friend had a problem with the plastic bits for holding the drivers side window in a Golf. They broke which resulted in the glass falling down, when trying to lift it, it must have fallen again and smashed. It was the guy replacing the window that pointed out the reason it fell.

Anyone know if the mechanism in the Octavia is the same ? I showed him photos of my window mechanism the time I had it apart and he thinks it looks different.
