The VRS has gone. I felt a little sad to see her go, I'll probably wish I hadn't when I start working out my fuel expenditure now...

Enter the tan-booth-coloured French thing:

Yes its french, yes the wings are made of plastic, no the passenger window doesn't work (new regulator to be fitted under warranty next week), but yes its rather nippy, and yes it does sound amazing.

So far mpg has been aound 35, which I don't think is half bad to say I've been a bit nasty to it at times, although I'll probably get sick of buying petrol in 12 months, sell up and but another VRS...

Always liked these! Was looking for a dci one when I got my Golf (sadly, I failed!).

Enjoy being able to rev past 4k again too!

Im sorry to be rude but being bashful with my opions isn't my cup of tea, but its a ****** creation, really isn't my cup of tea.

However I fully respect that that is just my opinion and certainly isnt my business to pee on your bonfire, so good luck with enjoying it.

I would like the megraine more if the front was better looking, the rear was better looking (genius of advertising how they sold that back end as an actual bonus on the car)

Oh and if it wasn't French lol. Good luck and enjoy it anyway, I'm sure its amazing to actually drive which is the main thing!

very nice, i very nearly bought one of these myself the other day, always loved the way they look but the last french car i had was awful so i ended up staying with the fabia.

Nice cars, i especially like the F1 R26. A neighbour had one in Red, although not an F1, still bloody amazing...

Yep... bye bye 50mpg and hello petrol station... ;)
