Wow, it did well at the 30-130 event up at RAF Marham the weekend. Fastest time of the weekend.

I was following this through the GTROC and thought a 7.25 from an R34 on the Sunday (in the rain) was going to be tough to beat.

Top speed for the whole weekend was an R35 at almost 218mph. Again in the rain on the Saturday. Clearly some drivers with big balls considering they had to brake and negotiate the exit of the runway!

Faults with windscreen wipers and lane assist

My 2023 Fabia started throwing up two faults. First the windshield wipers stop working and there's a fault about that. So far I have been able to get them started again by turning them on and off a few times. Then another fault happens in rapid succession and the lane assist stops working. I have an extended warranty until September but the dealer suggested it might be out of warranty because I recently had an oil service, MOT, and new tyres fitted at a local garage. Any advice welcome.

For the past few days, I’ve noticed that the Remote Park Assist option has been added to the Assisted Drive Plus package in the configurator (though I’m not sure if this applies to all countries). I asked my dealer if this option can be activated for vehicles that have already been produced. He informed me that vehicles produced starting from production week 48/2024 will be able to be equipped with Remote Park Assist, and I have not received any information regarding the possibility of

I had a low coolant error flash up the other day (first time ever). Checked coolant level & it was a bit low. Topped it up & will keep monitoring. Question is where has the coolant escaped from? No obvious signs of any leaks. Mileage is 52,500 & next service is away off. Does the 280 have a weep hole in the water pump to indicate a new pump is required?
