Service light when it's not needed

Featured Replies

Hi Guys, don't know if anyone has ever come across it but I had my car serviced about 3 months ago at 58,000 miles but yesterday the service light came on my car again when my current mileage is 61,500.

I'm not due another service until 68,000 so does anyone know why this would come on again so soon.

Mine has done the same on the past 2 services and is very annoying as it beeps every time I turn the ignition on. I'm not sure what causes it but you can reset it but will come on again in 1000 miles.

Do I just take it into the garage to reset it?

It's shows you in the manual. It's very easy to do but can't remember off the top of my head. I'm sure someone will be along shorty to advise.
