VRS Special Edition

Featured Replies

Guys,

quick question, can you get the special edition blue fabia vrs without leather seats as standard?

Ive seen an 07 plate, blue for sale but without leather seats?

Im beginning to think this may just be a standard VRS with a respray.

Thanks for your help.

No, each set of seats were embroided with the number they were.

Has it got red brake calipers, cruise control, tinted glass and CD changer?

Might be someone has sold the leather and put cloth seats in?

Skoda's new special edition Fabia vRS

  • Run-out special edition of Fabia vRS diesel
  • Car has £2000 of extra equipment
  • New Fabia due in May; new vRS due in 2008

Skoda has released a special edition of its diesel Fabia vRS, which has £2000 of extra equipment.

The Fabia vRS Special Edition has individually numbered black leather seats, red brake calipers and blue metallic paint.

It also includes cruise control and a six-CD changer. You can choose the number you want on your seats (001-1000) - but only if you're quick enough, because this is offered on a first come, first served basis.

Power comes from a 130bhp 1.9-litre turbodiesel, which can generate 229lb ft of pulling power - i's enough to drag the Fabia to 62mph in 9.5sec and on to a top speed of 128mph. It'll also manage an average of 55.4mpg, too.

The car will cost £12,990, which is £615 more than the standard vRS.

An all-new Fabia will go on sale in May, and a vRS version will follow at some point in 2008.

Sure mine could be an SE. Found an old spec sheet that said it had full leather interior (unless this was added). Car also has cruise control, heated mirrors, AC, tints etc.

Would the V5 state an SE?

In most cases, yes. Although some were not registered correctly on the V5c, so they look like a regular VRS to the DVLA.

Leather and other stuff you mentioned were optional extras on the standard car, they just included them on the SE.

If it's the SE seats they have blue piping to match the Race Blue paint.

Plus the number of the car stampted into the headrests under the VRS logo.

If the seats are not numbered and have blue piping they are not from a VRS SE.

Other than the obvious, which is that your photo is of a silver VRS, where every single VRS SE was Race Blue.

They were only mkI Fabias that came in that colour.

That and the fact that his sig says his car is a 2004.

There is only one pre 2007 SE and that belongs to Leeland as it was the promo one used for all the marketing etc before the real ones came out of the factory.

Case closed then. ;)

If you tell me the reg i can check if its a genuine SE or not.

Case closed then. ;)

Sounds like it.............................LOL.
