white carpets aka pain!

Featured Replies

anybody else sick of trying to keep the white carpets clean? mine are destroyed :(

now i see why skoda got rid of them in the mk2 vrs?

was there an option to get black carpets in the mk1?

do elegance models have grey or black carpets?

cheers lads

Yes my Elegance estate has dark grey/black carpets, glad I've not got white ones :whew:

I have an incredibly black interior- black leather, black marble stereo surround, black plastics, black carpet.

Well worth changing it, even though (strangely) it looks smaller inside...

Meh, they arent too bad to keep clean, just dont get in with muddy feet :p

car matts FTW!

I love the white carpet!!

I think it looks cleaner when hoovered than a black carpet as black shows hairs fag ash etc....

Just keep on top of it with some 1001!

:)

Love/hate relationship with mine, love it because it looks great when cleaned, hate it because I have kids.

I ripped my white carpets out and fitted a black carpet from a 3 door R32. fitted a treat and looks awesome. Got the carpet from ebay for £40.

Hate the white carpet, go rid for a VW Bora black one refitted the VRS mats and looks great plus a direct fit.

How hard to fit?

How hard to source?

:)

Nevermind, just found your "build" thread, too much work for me.

Part numbers for carpet 1U2 863 367K 1DD black £266

1U2 863 367L 74C Anthracite £142.51

Both prices include VAT

I just used to give mine a once over with a rug doctor once a year, never had too much trouble with it but I hardly ever had anyone sitting in the back
