Hi all, after much deliberating i've ordered another VRS! First of all i wanted a Superb, then what options to go for, then what colour to have! So i've gone for a Diesel Hatch in Steel Grey ( the wife decided the colour!) with rear parking sensors, rain sensor, maxidot and spare temporary wheel - that'll do, should get it in September.

Very nice,is the waiting list that long? Is steel grey very light or the dark grey?

I'd say its very light grey - but you could call it dark silver. There is apparently at the moment a bit of a waiting list on Diesel VRS's, particulary if its a specific build order - thats the party line from Canterbury Skoda...

I just ordered a VRS estate diesel DSG on Tuesday and am expecting mine by mid June. Apparently build week 14 which is mid April and built in 2 weeks.

I've gone for silver with rear sensors, variable boot floor, airbags, light assistant, sunset glass, xenons, spare wheel, alcantara and 3 spoke MF wheel. Dealer matched online broker price too so great deal!

I ordered mine in Sept last year and it turned up in December.....DSG, Xenons and yellow. I think it was the yellow that did it...

That looks very nice though not sure I'd have the courage to choose yellow. Same with new rally green which I say this week which looked very nice too. I went for safe and boring silver!!

The VRS CR DSG that I ordered two weeks ago has an estimated delivery of June 1st, so hopefully it might come through sooner???

Probably, but round here, they got increasingly common. There's only one other sprint yellow one I know of in this neck of the woods.

Same here. There are a few race blues on the Island but I have the only Sprint Yellow

Build week 14 is next week, you may get it sooner than you think!

That'd be brilliant but as I've not had official confirmation I'll take it with a pinch of salt. Anything earlier than mid to late June would be a bonus though. Really looking forward to it.

I have build week 14 and have been told 2-4 weeks after for delivery. Different manufacturer but it is similar for skodas. My vrs took 4 weeks to deliver.

Think the dealer may have misquoted the build week as he mentioned mid April build so that may be more like week 17/18. Not sure when the build year starts myself (sounds like sometime in December).

Hopefully being built now, as long as the Germans aren't taking too many tea breaks!

1st Monday of the year is the start of week 1.

Steel grey = Awesome choice!

Get on the phone and order the black interior though! £83 well spent!

I take it that the carbon inserts are now the standard trim - seen a few photos - looks ok
