Have an Octavia 1.6 company car, and wouldn't ask for any other make. Just does everything I need.

Had an older 1.9 for a short time too.

Just finalising the purchase of a late Fabia VRS 1.4 for the wife to pootle about in.

We had a 1.9 VRS for 43 years (remapped to 180 bhp - it was perhaps a bit OTT for 50 somethings).

Now at 60 we wanted a balance between fun and ease of use, so the auto box suits us sir.

Getting rid of our Honda Jazz with horrid semi-auto box (you have to drive it like a bus, delaying between gears, and also need a degree in rocket surgery to understand the controls.

Skoda? They're.........logical.
