where exactly is the gear box code on my vrs?? cheers Rion

Easiest one to see is under the carpet in the boot, top left of the wheel well there's a sticker with gearbox code (among a list of every option fitted to the car etc.).

Guys Today I fitted my dashcam from my previous car to the Karoq. My car has a rain sensor, so I decided to power it using a FitDvr adapter. This piggybacks into the wiring to the sensor and gives switched power, so no parking mode. Dongar also do a fitment for our cars, but were out of stock at the time. I took my time, ensuring proper connection and no damage to mirror shroud. It was dead easy. One thing to note is that the power doesn't switch off until 30s or so after you lock car and comes

Ok, Matrix Leds are fantastic. When driving on A or B class roads they working perfect, illuminates both sides of the road and cuts out cars at the front or oncoming traffic. I've never been flashed. When I tried to use them on motorway it's a different story. Right headlamp is illuminating as expected but left one doesn't illuminate side of the road but only gives a lot of light far at the front of the car.. When I got the car back in November I was trading in a 21 Plate Fabia wanting an upgrade in terms of spec and size. I had previously had a 150PS TDI Superb 3 so knew thats what I wanted again. It had 123,000 miles and a few age related tatty marks and body marks. Most of the interior lights had been changed to White LED, AdBlue had been coded out and it had some hideous quilted floor mats. We love Yetis - we've had 7 or 8 between us since 2011. But, we were talking about whether it's getting to the right time after the winter to sell while the car is still popular. I'm torn - it's diesel, 4x4 and DSG and the last of the line. I took a 5 hour train trip to buy it. I guess as there is nothing obvious we would want to replace it with -maybe a medium size EV - we will keep it !? Any thoughts ?
