VRS Alloys Referbs?

Featured Replies

My VRS alloys are looking a little tired, blistered and leaking on the rims. Anyone know a decent alloy wheel referber around the midlands, Leicester or Northampton area. Recommendations please........cheers

DIY, it aint complicated to clean up the wheels (if you have another pair to ride on)

Just some time, patience, polishing disks and fluid of various grades, perhaps some filler, and alloy paint and lacquer.

God to be better than paying someone £70 a wheel

Spraying with a can....just don't over focus on one area so everywhere gets liberal coverage of paint and not to close. I did mine face up so it didn't run and the weather was about right.

Only thing not perfect is some of the scuffs, but less noticeable than before and I take the perspective than damage will always occur plus doing it again later will get them even closer to perfect.

Done mine and look much better than before and happy with the result, just have to wait a few more weeks for them to set before they can have tyres fitted !
