Is it worth putting an induction on?

Featured Replies

Is it worth putting an induction on my 1.2 07 fabia? I will obviously put them in so they have a high air flow getting to them near the front of the engine. Just wondered if it would benefit at all?

Some of my friends have them on their cars and all they do is add noise. I think they sound quite good but they are not to everyones tastes. They have no or very little performance gains uless maped in (or so i believe. Im willing to be corected though) i havent had one im only going in what my friends have said and my experiences of being out in their cars. We did a direct comaprison by swapping the standard airbox and filter for a K&N cone. There was no differance except in noise.

Having said that i would probably have one if i had a petrol ;)

As said above, just increases induction noise. No noticable power gains to be had.

No benefit whatsoever only the extra noise and afraid noise do not equal more power.
