Trip Computer and climate ?

Featured Replies

Picked up my 2011 VRS CR Tdi a couple of weeks ago, reset trip 2 to keep a constant record of cars mileage while I use trip 1 to record individual journeys, however noticed today whilst on the motorway that trip 2 reset itself halfway into todays journey.

Is there a max miles for the trip computers that they reset at, I'm guessing I have done 1000-1500 miles since it was set ?

Before I read the manual I have also noticed when I start the car the fan sometimes goes to max setting eben tho climate is in manual mode, again is this normal ?

Thanks

If you push the front windscreen button this turns the fan on max, other than that it should restart with the same settings it was turned off.

See this recent thread, is this the same issue you are experiencing?

Yeah that's the problem, random resetting of the trip computer, what with that and the random settings of climate I'm starting to worry. I vowed never to own another Skoda after a new superb had lots of electrical niggles in 2004......looks like similar problems with this one too great :(
