VRs Discs and Pads?

Featured Replies

Hi, I'm hoping someone can help me out if you can spare the time.

Is 1K0 615 301 AA the correct part number for front discs on a PD170 VRs (2007)?

Can anyone post the part numbers for front and rear pad sets too please?

Any recommendations for non-oem parts would be much appreciated too. I was browsing on http://www.123spareparts.co.uk but have no idea if their parts are any good.

Many thanks!

Mate, go to eurocarparts type in your index and all will be revealed, look at pagid for OEM quality replacement parts, and if you enter discount code 'Brisk25' you will get 25% discount, I always get my brake parts from them, can fault the service, price or quality of the product.

Opie oils have 25% off Ferodo at the moment aswell.

Ferado can't compete with the OE quality of Pagid :-) - if you want cheaper options we stock Eicher, but for a few pennies more you get the part which was fitted on the production line! Job done :-)

I now I have a scout but I have just fitted Pads and discs, I got them from Unipart £76 there was an offer buy the discs get the pads 1/2 price

no fitting issues and no issues since fitted !

Would use Unipart if it was the last thing on earth, OE pads are TRW not Pagid.

I am almost certain mine have never been done before and they are Ferrodo. Were these also fitted as OE at factory? Need to be done now at 40k 5 years old so shall be taking full advantage of ECP 25% discount;)

I dont know of any VAG where Ferodo have fitted them on the factory (i may be wrong)

AFAIK TMD (Pagid/Textar) are the largest supplier to the VAG and are one of the biggest in the world!

So even if Pagid isn't OE on your particular car (ATE are OE on mine) i wouldn't consider anything other than Pagid (and never have) and with 25% off, you cant go wrong! :)
