Featured Replies

emissions warning light has come on AFTER I PULLED OUT THE WRONG FUSE FROM THE FUSE BOX,

i went to local garage and he turnd off the warng light. but it came back on after stopping and restarting the car.

now he says its the maff sencore.

sounds a bit odd to me as i only pulled out a wrong fuse,

will it need a new maff or can it just be cleaned :wall: :wall: :wall:

anyone HELP :wall: :wall: :wall: :wall:

Need to find out what the fault code is ideally - did the garage tell you?

Are you sure you put the fuse back in the right place?

Sounds odd that the light would come on from a wrong fuse taken out.

As above what fuse did you take out?

You need the code from the ecu to figure out what is actually the problem

Did you change the MAF without getting the code first??? Bear in mind many faults - emissions for example in my case- can take a couple of days to show up after being reset.

the maf was done on saterday, the garage dident give me the codes. even when i went back today he just turned off the light and said it was sorted . now lost faith in him,

Buy a scanner from e-bay for £20 and scan for codes and then post them up. Can't really help without the codes
