My new octavia was built last week and is now at Emden ... anyone know which side of the port at Emden is the Skoda docks?

It's the part with the loading ramps and lots of Skoda cars waiting, now was it the left or right side?

Yorkshire - v.helpful! I got a similar withering response from my (Yorkshire) wife re: me trying to work out which ship it might be on.

James - It's a an Estate, Elegance 2.0 CR TDI in petrol blue with a few extras. Glad I didn't leave it any longer - Skoda have just stopped accepting new orders for that base spec. I'd guess they're getting ready for the Octy 3.

Liger1956 - Do you know how long yours was at Emden before they shipped it?

I've been told mine will be going via Tyne docks and it just missed the 'City of Amsterdam' this week. Unfortunately the Tyne shipping schedule doesn't show another boat due in from Emden for at least the next week :-( So it'll be sitting on the dock side gathering seagull droppings when I could be driving it. Grrr.

Mine was quoted at being between the factory and the docks when I ordered it and it arrived in 3 weeks.

Good things are worth waiting for.
