What are the best hoses to get at a reasonable price that fit correctly? intake and intercooler

I would love to silicone the bay but the price of those pipes for no benefit is ridiculous.

there is no real benefit for the intake hoses

breathers are different though - oil resistant unlike the oem part

Why on the AUQ engines is the Inlet and throttle body aligned left to the engine but on the BAM and AEM?(cupra R engine) are they aligned right?

just out of interest, if you are fitting a fmic can you put a hardpipe off a ko4 (audi s3) on and do away woth the pancake pipe????

If the FMIC has inlet and outlet at opposite ends then you could do that IF you had the BAM manifold too. If you stuck with the AUQ manifold then it wouldn't work as the hardpipe comes round the side of the engine and down where on the AUQ engine the pipe would be coming up from the intercooler to the throttle body.
