Hi,

Looking at putting a MkII vRS badge on the front grill and i've used the search but couldn't find the answer to how can i go about removing this bit of plastic??

Any help appreciated.

Interesting.... what plate car is it? Mine (2003/03) does not have this on the grill. The vRS badge (if I had one) would be glued straight onto the slats.

It's a Sept 54 plate.

I have this, mine's an '05

I also have this on my 55 plate but it's only stuck on with double sided foam sticky stuff.

So perhaps source a poverty spec fabia front grill insert to replace it with??

Don't really want the added expense of buying another grill from a lower spec Fabia. As it's going to be covered, i think i'm going to just try to cut it off and sand any excess bits as flat as best i can.

My mate had the same problem he opened his bonnet and put a screwdriver on it and hit it really hard with the palm of his hand he never found the bandge again but it worked

lol Might be worth a shot. I also thought about heating it and hoping whatevers holding it on will soften and it will come straight off.

Most of them normally fall off anyhow, good tug and it should give up.
