Swmbo has asked why is there a line down the centre of screen on her monte Carlo. I ain't got a clue but thought someone on here must. Is fine black starts at mirror and goes 3/4 of way down screen

im sure somebody said it was part of the aerial for the radio, i could be wrong though

'Tis an aerial and they come bonded in the glass, with a hidden connector so the screen can be replaced, if needs be!

In fact, there was a screen on ebay recently that was claimed to be new but the aerial connector was damaged, hence the lower starting price.

It is a Arial as when I had national windscreen look at. A chip on windscreen they said on phone they might needed to order a screen with the Arial in but lucky I got it filled in.

No problem (as mentioned above) had a replacement on the Roomy and it was exactly the same as the original, fitted by Autoglass.
