To Leather Or Not?

Featured Replies

If it was an option would you get your seats retrimmed in leather?

It was never an option from the factory but I keep thinking about it so the vRS can look and feel a bit more classy inside. Something like the below with blue stitching....

Thoughts?

That is the interior from my old Mk1 VRS, I was the first person to thave the double dimaond stitching with their machine :) It was excellent quality, smelt amazing and looked the shizz....

Go for it!

If they dont offer a good deal as the first vRS Fab to have this done, ask about a group buy - you never know a few people on here may get together and have it done (unless you want to be unique)

Thats another thing. If i go for light weight seats i want them heated as well. I do like my heated seats lol

I don't think they do heated Carbon Fibre seats. ;)

Carbon fibre lol. I'll need another job before i can afford them. Id be happy to pay around £1200-1500 all in for a pair of seats and no more, but that wouldnt be until everything else i want done is finished. That would be icing on the cake.

Go for it!! :D Leather will look great, and take the car to a new level of class!

I thought the whole 'too hot' and 'too cold' issue would bother me with leather seats but it doesn't. If it's cold then I'm wearing enough layers not to notice. My seats have never been too hot, I'm guessing it's the fact that British sunshine isn't THAT hot :giggle:

I'd get them though. Would really jazz up the interior if you can get them stitched with a logo. Race seats would be the shizz but could end up costing you an arm and a leg. I'll doubt they'll have heating as well.
