Had the turbo and badge recall done.

Not noticed any improvement in turbo lag but as long as it now does not refuse

'to go' when I press the accelerator it will do (dangerous fault Skoda not taking seriously enough).

As long as there are no more major component 'recalls' will continue supporting

the brand but must say dissappointed with issues had to deal with.

I think it is possible that mine was in a really bad way. It wouldn't idle correctly, really rough when cold and rattle when started.

However, since the recall being done (and 5 days of driving), I can say the rattle was the turbo rattle, it idles much better and it is no longer rough when cold, and the last couple of days, it has been living outside.

So, if yours is like mine, get the recall done ASAP.
