Big Jase is normally the one with the input on injectors. Search his posts on similar topics

What power are you running?

Standard injectors on the pd130 are good for 230bhp.

Larger injectors are only good with BIG power. If you are planning hybrid, intercooler, etc... buying larger injectors you won't see massive benefit but you will see a big hole in your pocket and a lot more smoke.

You can get your current injectors bored up to the larger size, but as mr roll says there is no need unless your going mental, they are not cheap!

I'll add my voice to that, no point unless you are spending a fortune and going for big power.

What are your plans for the engine and it's power output?

Who had that red fabia with 260 odd horsepower? that was on standard injectors.

That was Warwick Hunt, it's been sold on though.... To somebody else on the forum I believe :)

It was the same engine spec as mine, a Jabbasport stage 3 conversion.

Jabba can get up to around 260bhp on standard injectors. But the trade off is that last bit of power produces a bit of smoke.

Yes, it was Warwick Hunt's car and it is now in the ownership of another Briskoda owner that has not made it public yet AFAIK.

Yep, not going to say who, but it's a wolf in sheep's clothing :)

We have discussed various points about the conversion at length as we have similarly set up cars under the bonnet.

But as he has not decided to splash it over the interweb I'm not volunteering the info. Seems fair.

I can only see them smoking if the mapping hasn't been altered correctly to take into account the increased flow. For example the duration maps which tell the car how long to keep the injectors open for a given amount of fuel will need to be reduced and extended if needed. Likewise all the timing maps will need altering to ensure the end of injection isn't before TDC.

The whole point of the increased flow is to allow you to inject more fuel in less time. It will only smoke if their isn't enough air or dodgy duration mapping.

No, and this thread is seven and a half years old.
